Andrada Lolu
Artist & Curator - Features of Immutable Realities
Bio
Andrada Lolu completed her undergraduate and postgraduate education at the University of Art and Design (UAD) in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She specialised in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts (FAP).
Andrada Lolu’s professional practice as a visual artist and curator has encompassed participation in numerous exhibitions and artistic projects both nationally and internationally.
”Andrada Lolu is an artist for whom the creative process is a way to connect with what she knows about herself and with the unknown. Raised in a place that seemed detached from time, almost archaic, Andrada preserves in her work the memory of an unaltered childhood, where the seasons had their own rhythm and emotions manifested themselves in pure forms. Influenced by culture, nature, and faith, but especially guided by her deep relationship with God, the artist constructs intense visual universes, situated at the border between the visible and the invisible, the tangible and the intangible. At the center of her approach is a continuous search for truth and beauty as a means of expressing it.” – editor, Lorelai Mursa ( https://thewoman.ro/andrada-lolu-artista/)
Alexa Lincu
Visual Artist
Romania
Alexa Lincu
Visual Artist
Bio
Alexa Lincu is a Romanian visual artist, whose practice moves between traditional media, such as painting, sculpture, and ceramics, and digital experimentation. Her
work shifts fluidly in scale, from intimate illustrations to large murals, exploring the connections between medium, space, and emotion.
Drawing inspiration from childhood memories, literature, and the surrounding environment, Alexa translates feelings and states of mind into characters and compositions that appear colourful, naive, and playful. Yet behind their cheerful surface, she investigates how vulnerability and imagination can shape the environments we share, how art could become a bridge between community and a world of infinite possibilities.
Through these dreamlike worlds, she offers moments of shelter and reflection in a reality that often feels difficult to face, inviting kindness, self-compassion, and a shared sense of
understanding.
